NBC renews Manifest, cans three others

Manifest debuted in 2018

US broadcast network NBC has renewed mystery drama series Manifest for a third season, but has cancelled three other shows.

Manifest is produced by Warner Bros Television, Universal Television, Compari Entertainment and Jeff Rake Productions.

Jeff Rake executive produces alongside Jack Rapke, Jackie Levine and Len Goldstein, while Melissa Roxburgh and Josh Dallas lead the cast.

The plot focuses on the passengers and crew of a turbulent but routine flight who disembark to find the world has aged five-and-a-half years and their friends, families and colleagues had given up hope of ever seeing them again.

Meanwhile, legal drama Bluff City Law, comedy Sunnyside and multi-cam comedy Indebted have all been cancelled.

Bluff City Law was produced by Dean Georgaris Entertainment, David Janollari Entertainment and Universal Television and aired a single season of 10 episodes.

Sunnyside also had a limited first run of 11 episodes, produced by 3 Arts Entertainment and Universal Television, while Sony Pictures Television and Universal were behind Indebted.
