NBC lines up Red Arrow thriller

US broadcaster NBC has picked up a pilot for a military thriller from the writers of The Following.

Odyssey takes place in numerous countries and follows three families whose lives are torn apart by an international military conspiracy. It is NBC’s first pilot order for the 2014/15 season.

The show is being developed by London’s Red Arrow Entertainment with writers Adam Armus and Kay Foster (The Following) and Peter Horton (Thirty Something, Grey’s Anatomy) onboard as exec producers.

Alongside the trio will be Red Arrow’s Simon Maxwell as well as Mikkel Bondesen, Kristen Campo and Henrik Bastin (Burn Notice, The Killing) from Fabrik Entertainment, which is part of the ProSiebenSat.1-owned Red Arrow group.
