Nat Geo plays with shark doc

Playing With Sharks focuses on Australian conservationist Valerie Taylor

National Geographic Documentary Films has acquired feature-length documentary Playing With Sharks following its premiere at the digital version of Sundance.

Produced by Australia’s WildBear Entertainment and UK documentary specialist Dogwoof and directed by Sally Aitken, the film chronicles the life of Australian conservationist and underwater filmmaking pioneer Valerie Taylor.

The film is produced by Bettina Dalton of WildBear and exec produced by Alan Erson of WildBear, Anna Godas and Oli Harbottle for TDog, and Paul Wiegard for Madman Entertainment.

Playing With Sharks premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on Friday after initially being pitched at the event in 2019.
