Muse Entertainment seals deal with CBS for scripted drama Five Point

CBS has inked a development deal with Canadian production company Muse Entertainment for a scripted drama called Five Point.

Montreal-based Muse has hired Craig Turk and Ryan Hooper to pen the series, with Turk also set to serve as executive producer alongside Muse’s president of production Irene Litinsky.

The series follows a daughter who steps in as the head of an elite team of US marshals after her father goes missing.

Turk is the co-creator and executive producer of CBS’s popular series FBI and has also served as exec producer on other CBS series including The Good Wife.

Emerging screenwriter Hooper’s script Four Assassins (And a Funeral) was listed on the recently released 2021 Black List, which highlights some of the most popular unproduced screenplays of each year.

Muse’s Litinsky is an executive producer on CBS’s adventure series Blood and Treasure and The CW’s The Republic of Sarah. She is also a producer on the CBS comedy Ghosts.
