Jack Irish returns to Acorn TV for final run

US-based SVoD service Acorn TV has acquired North American streaming rights to the third and final season of mystery drama Jack Irish.

Produced by Easy Tiger Production for ABC in Australia in association with Film Victoria, Jack Irish: Hell Bent will again star Guy Pearce (A Christmas Carol, Iron Man 3, Mildred Pierce) as the criminal lawyer-turned-troubleshooter.

The 4×60’ series, based Peter Temple’s bestselling novels of the same name, will focus on the circumstances around the murder of the titular character’s wife.

Acorn TV has already taken S1-2 of the series and will premiere the new season later this year after picking it up from UK-based distributor DCD Rights.
