ITV Studios has rebranded its UK factual entertainment label Shiver as MultiStory Media, under the direction of managing director Tim Carter.

Carter joined the ITV Studios outfit in early 2018 from Warner Bros-owned Twenty Twenty, where he was CEO.

Since joining MultiStory Media, he has secured commissions for new and returning formats including: Piers Morgan Life Stories, The Comedy Years and Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs for ITV; Britain’s Best Junior Doctors for BBC 2; Come Dine With Me and Embarrassing Pets for Channel 4; and Red Arrows for Channel 5.

As part of the rebrand, Carter last year grew the senior creative team by appointing Ana de Moraes (First Dates, The Choir) as group creative director, Ceri Aston (Dragons Den) as creative director of MultiStory North and Simone Haywood (Tattoo Fixers, LegoMasters, Celebs Go Dating) as head of factual entertainment.

MultiStory Media has also diversified into drama since Carter took the helm. Wild Bill, made in association with 42 and Anonymous Content, is the label’s debut scripted commission. Starring and exec produced by Rob Lowe, it will air on ITV in June.

“MultiStory Media describes the label today – a diverse team of passionate storytellers and entertainers, creating shows across the country for every broadcaster and in every genre,” said Carter.
