Int’l nets sample Geronimo Stilton

Broadcasters and platforms in the Americas and Africa have acquired animated children’s series Geronimo Stilton.

In the Americas, HITN’s digital platform Edye has picked up the SVoD rights to the series for US Hispanic and Latin American territories, while Knowledge Network has acquired the free TV rights to season one, having previously picked up seasons two and three.

In Africa, Ivorian pubcaster RTI has bought the free TV rights to the series, which comprises three seasons of 26 episodes each.

Produced by Italy’s Atlantyca Entertainment and Paris-based Superprod, Geronimo Stilton is an investigation and adventure series based on the books of the same name by Elisabetta Dami.

Both the books and TV series tell the tales of a journalist mouse as he and his family scour New Mouse City for scoops and travel the world.

Geronimo Stilton is distributed internationally by Superprod’s sister company Superights.
