Iflix bags Bat Pat from Atlantyca

Malaysia-based SVoD service iflix has acquired the streaming rights to animated comedy Bat Pat from Italian prodco Atlantyca Entertainment.

Launching in December, the 52×11’ show will be available to iflix customers in 23 territories across Asia, MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Bat Pat, a coproduction between Atlantyca and Imira Entertainment in Spain, with the participation of Rai in Italy and Spain’s RTVE, follows the adventures of a talking bat and his friends.

The iflix deal follows fellow streamer Netflix taking the series for Spain and Latin America, excluding Brazil.

Bat Pat has now been sold to more than 100 countries.
