Go Button Media promotes four execs as production slate set to double

Toronto-based factual prodco Go Button Media has promoted four executives as it prepares for a production boost in 2022.

Director of development Robin Webster has been promoted to VP of development and casting, with manager of development Sarah Hewitt taking up Webster’s former role.

Webster and Hewitt will be driving the development of new IP and talent for the business, including work on the recently announced series Forgotten Frontlines, Colossal Machines, Mysteries of the Ancient Dead, Call Me Mother season two and Secret Societies: In the Shadows.

Stephanie Baird has been promoted from line producer to director of production, while Rebecca Costa has been upped from post supervisor to director of post-production.

Baird will oversee Go Button’s production slate both in Canada and internationally, while Costa will supervise the expansion of the company’s edit team, post schedules, network deliveries and systems.

Go Button’s slate of confirmed productions for 2022 is more than double the number of hours produced in 2021 and will see the business deliver its largest and most varied slate of factual and entertainment shows for domestic and international clients.
