Germany’s RTL takes over Stefan Raab quizshow formats from rival ProSieben

Blamieren oder Kassieren moves to RTL in the autumn

German broadcaster RTL has commissioned new seasons of two formats originally created by producer Stefan Raab for rival network ProSieben.

Quizshow Blamieren oder Kassieren will move to RTL from this autumn while Schlag den Besten will begin airing on its new channel in 2024.

In Blamieren oder Kassieren, two celebrities compete against a studio contestant in witty quiz rounds.

Revamped primetime show Schlag den Besten sees celebrities compete against each other in various duels over four episodes. In the finale, the best two play for the jackpot.

The shows join Raab’s series Turmspringen on RTL. Both are produced locally by Banijay-owned prodco Brainpool.
