Food Network unveils January delicacies

US cablenet Food Network has unveiled its primetime line-up for 2009, with three series premieres, including two new shows.

Of the new shows, Chopped, which is hosted by Ted Allen (Food Detectives) and premieres January 13 at 22.00, challenges four up-and-coming chefs to turn a selection of everyday ingredients into an extraordinary three-course meal.

Meanwhile, Will Work For Food, which is hosted by Adam Gertler (The Next Food Network Star) and premieres January 19 at 20.30, exposes Gertler to the world of little-known food jobs.

The new year also sees presenter Guy Fieri returning as host of Ultimate Recipe Showdown, which enters its second season, premiering January 4 at 21.00.
