Endemol Shine France ups Cazaux

The chief operating officer and head of production at Endemol France is stepping up to become executive director of the newly merged Endemol Shine France.

Delphine Cazaux will report to incoming Endemol Shine France president Nicolas Coppermann.

Cazaux was head of organisation and human resource at broadcaster M6 prior to joining Endemol France in 2013.

The move comes ahead of the merger of Endemol and Shine in France. The two prodcos had initially remained separate when Endemol, Shine and Core Media merged to form the Endemol Shine Group in 2014.

The French competition authorities approved the decision to merge the firms last week, with Endemol France president Coppermann at the helm and Shine France president Thierry Lachkar and MD Bouchra Réjani leaving.

The new company is expected to be established in May. While the companies formally merge, Coppermann and Cazaux will continue in their roles within Endemol France and also become president and executive director of Shine France Group respectively, effective immediately.

Coppermann said: “Delphine has been an exceptional colleague over the past four years and those that know her will vouch for the great experience she will bring to the new Endemol Shine France.

“Now we have received the go-ahead, merger plans can push ahead at pace and I look forward to announcing a senior leadership team comprising talent from both companies later this month.”
