DR Sales executive director Noemi Ferrer to leave distributor next month

Noemi Ferrer, the executive director of Danish distributor DR Sales, is set to leave the company at the end of November.

Ferrer joined the Danish pubcaster’s sales arm as executive producer in 2020 and was promoted to her current role in May last year.

“I am stepping down for personal reasons after a challenging year marked by illness around me to make more time for my family,” Ferrer said, according to Nordisk Film & TV Fond News.

Prior to joining DR Sales, Ferrer worked for the Danish Film Institute. She has also held senior positions at Zentropa, the Irish Film Board and Prokino Filmverleih in Germany.

Titles on DR Sales’ current slate include the drama Nordland ’99, period series Carmen Curlers and prison drama Prisoner.
