The US-based company, which is behind the High School Musical spin-off series for Disney+, has hired Bronwyn North-Reist as head of creative. North-Reist joins Chorus Boy from Disney Branded Television, where she most recently served as executive director of development.

Chorus Boy has also hired Federle’s longtime manager Jennie Frisbie in a role that will see her developing and producing content for the company while continuing to manage talent at Authentic Talent & Literary.

Federle’s credits include creating the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, which is now in production on its fourth season with Disney Branded Television. He also wrote, directed and executive produced the feature film Better Nate Than Ever, which is based on a bestselling novel that he also wrote.

Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, said: “Tim is a visionary leader with an unparalleled instinct for developing stories and characters that resonate deeply with teen and young adult audiences.”
