CBC, ABC pick up CBBC’s Almost Never

Almost Never aired on children’s pubcaster CBBC last year

Broadcasters including Canada’s CBC Gem and Australia’s ABC have picked up CBBC teen comedy drama Almost Never from LA-based Dynamic Television.

From Jeremy Salsby’s Saltbeef Productions and co-creator Paul Rose, Almost Never (26×27’) charts the ups and downs of a boy band as they juggle home life, school and relationships alongside their dreams of pop stardom.

The musical dramedy premiered on BBC children’s channel CBBC in the UK last year.

In addition to CBC Gem and ABC, Almost Never has also been acquired by SVT in Sweden, YLE in Finland, NRK in Norway and Israel’s Talit.
