CBBC, ZDF Enterprises (ZDFE) and Zodiak Kids are all working on Silverpoint, with filming due to begin in Northern Ireland in June.

The 13×22’ series focuses on four children at a summer camp who all swear to secrecy over a mysterious object they find in the woods, fearing nobody will believe them.

Lee Walters created the series, which is being exec produced by Zodiak creative director Steven Andrew and produced by Trevor Klein.

ZDFE will handle distribution in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg and Italy. Zodiak Kids retains all other global sales rights.

Benoit Di Sabatino, CEO of Zodiak Kids, said: “Thanks to multi-award-winning series like Secret Life of Boys and Joe All Alone, we have developed a live-action series line-up to reach the international market. Silverpoint is the first production of this new development slate and we are proud to work with prestigious partners such as the BBC and ZDF Enterprises.”
