Beyond Rights partners with new producers in US, Canada, Australia, NZ

Jon Kelly leads the restoration team in observational docuseries Aussie Truck Rehab

London-based distributor Beyond Rights has struck first-time representation relationships with new producer partners Lou Reda Productions in the US, Canada’s White Pine Pictures, Ronde Media in Australia and Magnetic Pictures in New Zealand.

Through its partnership with Lou Reda Productions, Beyond Rights has acquired Eyewitness WWII: Invasion Italy (2×60’), an event mini-series being produced to tie in with the 80th anniversary in 2023 of the start of the Italian Campaign.

From White Pine Pictures, Beyond Rights will rep feature documentary The Con: Churchill & Roosevelt’s Secret War & the Birth of the ‘Deep State’ (1×90’/1×60’), coproduced with Beetz Brothers Film Productions and PMA Productions for Arte and Canada’s Super Channel.

The doc examines the story of British Security Coordination (BSC), which began operating under cover of a UK passport office in New York in 1940, run by a spy tasked with building a network of agents to spread fake news and undermine pro-Nazi sympathisers to bring the US into the war in support of Britain.

The new partnership with Ronde Media will see Beyond Rights take observational docuseries Aussie Truck Rehab (6×60’) out for presale. Produced in association with Whistling Wolf, the series is commissioned by Warner Bros Discovery ANZ for debut in 2023.

Aussie Truck Rehab follows mega trucking legend Jon Kelly and his crew of restoration renegades as they buy, bling and then sell vintage road warriors across Australia.

Finally, from Magnetic Pictures, Beyond Rights has acquired Wild Heroes (9×30’), a wildlife conservation series for Warner Bros Discovery ANZ which uses exclusive access to focus on important specialist work undertaken at Auckland Zoo. The series will premiere this year.
