Banijay to adapt SNL, Titan Games for India

Banijay Asia will adapt shows including The Titan Games

The Asian arm of European production and distribution giant Banijay has agreed a deal with NBCUniversal Formats to adapt a number of its shows in India, including Saturday Night Live.

Under the agreement, Banijay Asia will create local versions of scripted and entertainment titles including Suits, House, Monk, The Titan Games and Top Chef.

The deal marks the first coproduction agreement for NBCUniversal Formats, part of the Universal Studios Group, in India, as it strives to create more local content across Asia and the globe.
