Australia’s Goalpost Pictures hires Polly Rowe as development producer

Australian film and drama producer Goalpost Pictures has hired Polly Rowe as development producer.

Rowe has been literary manager at the Sydney Theatre Company since 2007, developing works with major writers and identifying new stories from emerging talent.

Goalpost Pictures is currently producing romantic comedy film Blind Five Dates with Amazon Studios for Prime Video and is in pre-production on series Black Snow for Aussie streamer Stan.

In a joint statement, Goalpost Pictures partners Rosemary Blight and Kylie du Fresne said: “Polly has an exceptional eye for identifying and developing writers and scripts, strong relationships across the creative industries and she has a superb track record for success.

“We are thrilled to have her join Goalpost Pictures at what is an incredibly busy time for the company as we build our slate of television and film projects for Australian and international audiences.”
