Aussie drama, NZ comedy to top Red Arrow Studio Int’l slate for Mipcom

Australian anthology drama Summer Love

Red Arrow Studios International has acquired the global distribution rights to New Zealand comedy Kid Sister and Australian anthology series Summer Love, which will headline its scripted slate for Mipcom.

Created by Simone Nathan and produced by Greenstone TV, Kid Sister (5×30’) is a coming-of-age comedy about a  Kiwi woman on the verge of turning 30. Although still in her prime, in the Jewish world she is careening towards spinsterhood. Kid Sister premiered on TVNZ On Demand earlier this year.

Summer Love (8×30’) was created and directed by comedy writers Robyn Butler and Wayne Hope and produced by Gristmill for ABC. The series sees eight very different sets of people rent the same beachside holiday house, where they experience some incarnation of love.
