Apple TV+ renews workplace comedy Mythic Quest for two more seasons

Half-hour sitcom Mythic Quest

Apple TV+’s Mythic Quest is set to continue after the tech giant’s streaming service ordered two more seasons of the workplace comedy.

The half-hour sitcom has been renewed for a third and fourth season, with the season three writers’ room set to get underway later this year.

The series is produced by US studio Lionsgate, its subsidiary 3 Arts Entertainment and Ubisoft Film & Television, the content division of gaming giant Ubisoft.

Created and executive produced by Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Megan Ganz, the show follows the fictional game studio behind the ‘biggest multiplayer video game of all time’, Mythic Quest.

In addition to McElhenney, the cast includes Ian Grimm, F Murray Abraham, Danny Pudi, Imani Hakim, Charlotte Nicdao, Ashly Burch, Jessie Ennis and David Hornsby.

Other executive producers on the series include Michael Rotenberg and Nicholas Frenkel on behalf of 3Arts, Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik and Gérard Guillemot for Ubisoft Film & Television, and David Hornsby.
