All3Media backs former rugby player Brian O’Driscoll’s sports producer 3 Rock

L-R: Brian O’Driscoll and Craig Doyle

London-headquartered All3Media has partnered with sports production outfit 3 Rock, founded by former rugby player Brian O’Driscoll and BT Sport presenter Craig Doyle.

The deal will see All3Media’s factual, documentary and sports specialist North One become exclusive live rugby coproduction partner for 3 Rock.

Meanwhile, All3Media’s digital agency Little Dot Studio, which last week announced the launch of sports label Little Dot Sport, will work with 3 Rock as exclusive digital partner.

The company’s distribution arm, All3Media International, will also act as exclusive distributor for 3 Rock’s projects.

Founded in 2021, 3 Rock focuses on live broadcasts, documentaries, podcasts, branded content and format development. It produced live coverage of the men’s RFU Championships and will also produce ITV’s recently announced Gallagher Premiership Rugby highlights programme.

The firm was also behind BT Sport documentary Shoulder to Shoulder and is producing the doc After, which lifts the lid on mental health within professional sport, for BT Sport.

Alongside co-founders O’Driscoll and Doyle, 3 Rock’s senior team includes Keith Doyle, who is MD.

All3Media CEO Jane Turton said: “This deal demonstrates how keen we are to build on our existing expertise in both live sports production and sports-based factual programming across different platforms.

“Brian and Craig’s track record in broadcasting, rugby and TV sport is first-class and we look forward to working with 3 Rock, adding exciting new talent and content specialism to the All3Media portfolio.”
