108 Media’s Brown makes Breakthrough

Canadian producer and distributor Breakthrough Entertainment has bolstered its sales team by hiring an executive from Toronto-based 108 Media.

Aliy Brown has joined as sales executive having previously been director of distribution and marketing at 108. While there she facilitated all VoD sales and distribution within North America and internationally.

Brown started her career with Kaleidoscope Entertainment as a production coordinator for multiple lifestyle series, advancing to director of sales for Canada. She also had a stint at Fremantle advancing from executive assistant to sales executive, servicing Latin America and worldwide digital sales.

For Breakthrough, Brown will manage a number of markets including Asia, Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa, as well as handling acquisitions for both television and film content across all genres.
