Facing injuries, perilous spacewalks, and critical technical failures, astronauts from around the world assembled the largest and most expensive object ever, overcoming linguistic, cultural, and ideological differences along the way. As they worked side by side in space, Earth below was shaken by wars, terror attacks, and environmental disasters. The astronauts witnessed these crises unfold, often able only to watch in disbelief as humanity damaged its own home. “Home from Space” is a thrilling and inspiring story about human harmony and daring feats, shaped by technology and science, but also by intercultural friendships and extraordinary adventures.
