In 1994, two Australian women are murdered seven weeks apart. Two men are convicted. One is innocent.
A journalist's fight to expose the miscarriage of justice results in the innocent man’s release after twelve years in prison. Then forensic testing reveals a new suspect - a convicted murderer, believed to be a psychopath.
Now the journalist retraces the new suspect’s movements, uncovering a trail of unsolved crimes in the United Kingdom including arson, theft and murder. With authorities pressured to act, three cold cases are reinvestigated.
This gripping five-star true crime series follows award winning journalist, now member of Parliament Colleen Egan, as she exposes police failures, gross miscarriages of justice and unmasks a suspected serial killer.
