La La lands new ITV America deal

Actress and producer La La Anthony is expanding her relationship with ITV America after inking a new production partnership deal.

Under the exclusive agreement, a range of projects in the urban music and pop culture space will be made via Anthony’s prodco LaLaLand, under the ITV America banner.

Ed Simpson, executive VP of business development and international at ITV America, brokered the pact.

Anthony is already developing a docuseries that takes an inside look at the business side of New York City’s hip-hop scene, alongside rapper/music producer Timbaland and ITV America subsidiaries Leftfield Entertainment and Leftfield Pictures.

She is also in development on other projects that include documentaries and scripted shows, as well as true-crime and live-event series. Anthony’s TV credits include the Starz series Power, BET’s The New Edition Story and A&E’s Unforgettable.
