Korea, Singapore studios prep toon

Animation studios from South Korea and Singapore are joining forces on a new CGI children’s series.

South Korean producer Electric Circus and Singaporean animation studio Tiny Island Productions are working on action-adventure show G-Fighters (26×22’).

The project has been backed by Korean pubcaster EBS, along with funding body Kocca, SBA, SK Broadband and CJ E&M.

The series, one of the first international coproductions between Korean and Singaporean toon houses, will launch at the end of 2014.
