Kabo to serve Hot Pepper

Hot Pepper originally aired between 1993 and 2001

French distributor Kabo International has secured worldwide distribution rights to Canadian gameshow format Hot Pepper.

Kabo will be presenting the 56×30’ format, from prodco Avanti Ciné Vidéo for Canadian network TVA, to buyers at MipTV in Cannes next month.

Shot in a university hangout, each episode of the primetime comedy format features three different comedians who compete in a series of more than 60 games while poking fun at hot topics of the day.

Hot Pepper returned to TVA in January after its original eight-season run between 1993 and 2001. Kabo will now work with Les Distributions Avanti Ciné Vidéo on the show’s roll-out.

Kabo will also be shopping Who’s Who?, created by Rose Bay Media and Noel Gay Television and recently picked up by SVT, and Ciao Darwin, which airs on Mediaset’s Canale 5 in Italy.
