Kaap Holland, Taneja launch Wonderboys

Amsterdam-based prodco Kaap Holland Film and creative producer and writer Anjali Taneja are joining forces to launch a new production shingle.

Wonderboys Media will produce series for TV and online, targeted at children, families and young adults. It is currently developing series and formats for channels and platforms in the Netherlands, Belgium and US.

Kaap Holland Film, managed by producer Maarten Swart, has produced films, series and coproductions such as Bon Bini Holland, New Kids Turbo and The Marathon.

Taneja, meanwhile, is known for Het Huis Anubis, Hart Beatand VRijland and others.

Maarten Swart, producer at Kaap Holland Film, said: “For years now, Anjali has demonstrated her unique talent for reaching younger audiences. We’re very much looking forward to working with her at Wonderboys Media in creating leading online and TV series.”

Taneja added: “Kaap Holland Film is a big international player, making high-quality, distinctive films for a wide audience. We share the same ambition, which was confirmed by our collaboration on the film Hart Beat.

“At Wonderboys Media, I will be able to focus entirely on creation, which will allow me to develop great series for TV and online platforms.”
