Job Description:

Summary of Position:
This role will be responsible for helping build Starzplay into a leading OTT network across Latin America. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing third-party distribution partners with the goal to continue increasing Starzplay subscriptions in LATAM. The role will also require extensive cross-functional collaboration with the Starzplay marketing and operations teams to identify and implement various partner initiatives to improve KPIs. The Manager, Distribution and Account Management will report into the Vice President for Starzplay for LATAM and will be located in Santa Monica.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Create strong working relationships with existing and new distribution partners
  • Implement opportunities to drive subscriber growth and retention
  • Prepare go-to-market presentations and reporting; translating audience and regional information into valuable and actionable insights
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing and Operations to ensure the successful launch of new partners
  • Create pitch decks and other materials as part of the sales process
  • Identify opportunities to grow the business outside of traditional distribution
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis around specific initiatives/opportunities for Starzplay
  • Keep the Starzplay leadership team up-to-date on market changes and trends that could affect the business

Job Requirements:

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in partner-facing roles in media in LATAM, entertainment or technology with at least 2 years working with SVOD/OTT networks
  • Highly analytical and experienced in data-driven decision-making 
  • Effective at cross-functional collaboration and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Preference for fast-paced environment with limited formal structure and process
  • Highly collaborative approach to problem solving 
  • Exceptional communication skills with a desire to exercise transparency and give/receive feedback
  • Regular international travel required 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Fluency in Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese required
