ITV Studios sells to streamers in India

India-based streamer Lionsgate Play, the Indian edition of new service Discovery+ and local broadcaster Viacom 18 have acquired a range of formats, dramas and factual series from UK distributor ITV Studios.

In the drama space, Lionsgate Play has picked up World Productions’ forthcoming thriller Vigil; Cattleya, Groenlandia and Sky’s historical epic Romulus; Mammoth Screen period drama The Singapore Grip; and Warp Films’ Little Birds.

Discovery+ India, meanwhile, has acquired a host of factual series, including Atlantic Productions’ Attenborough’s Journey; Twofour’s Impossible Engineering and The Indian Dream Hotel; and the UK version of Autopsy: The Last Hours of…, which is produced by ITV Studios label Potato.

Finally, in formats, Viacom 18 has acquired both seasons of dating show Love Island USA.
