Int’l nets dive into The Deep with DHX

DHX Media’s CGI series The Deep

CBBC in the UK, Super RTL in Germany and VRT in Belgium are among the international broadcasters to have picked up the third season of CGI-animated kids’ series The Deep.

Children’s producer and distributor DHX Media has sealed a further 10 deals around the world for the show, which was greenlit for a third run by Australian public broadcaster ABC earlier this year.

DHX, which produces the series along with Australia’s A Stark Production, has also shopped the show to NRK in Norway, SVT in Sweden and TVP in Poland.

KidsZone in the Baltics and Welsh-language pubcaster S4C have also taken the show, in addition to previously announced deals with global streamer Netflix and Family CHRGD in Canada.

DHX has also signed two new distribution deals for seasons one and two of with France Télévisions and RTP in Portugal.

The Deep follows the adventures of the Nekton family,a brilliant team of underwater explorers. Using state-of-the-art technology and with an unquenchable thirst for discovery, they explore the ocean depths.
