Insight TV takes two from Vice

Insight TV’s upcoming street footbal series

Ultra HD broadcaster Insight TV has ordered two unscripted series from the production arm of Vice, focusing on street football and eSports.

Vice Studios Benelux is working on Modern Day Gladiators, which immerses viewers in the culture of e-games and e-leagues, exploring the human stories behind this increasing global trend.

The as-yet unnamed street football series will explore the origins of the sport, which has given rise to some of the biggest names in the global game.

Well-known footballers will take the audience on a journey into prisons all over the world to understand the decisive moments that led many young, aspiring sports stars to end up behind bars. At the end of each episode the footballing legends will play a match against the inmates.

Both shows will premiere on Insight in autumn this year.
