ID listens in on Arrow’s Hear No Evil

Investigation Discovery (ID) in the US has ordered its latest true crime show, this time using audio recordings from victims and killers.

Hear No Evil uses audio material to tell the story of true crime cases

Hear No Evil (6×60’), from the UK’s Arrow Media, uses recordings captured by the victims’ families, the perpetrators’ friends and investigators, along with interviews, dramatic reconstructions, video archive and bespoke graphics.

The show is the sister series to See No Evil, which uses CCTV camera footage as the central source material.

Tom Brisley, co-founder and joint creative director at Arrow, said: “By building the series around audio rather than visual elements we are letting the viewer’s own imagination and instinctive fear of the unknown come to the fore.”

Brisley serves as creative director on the show, with Sam Starbuck as executive producer and Tom Keeling series producer.
