Hulu extends Casual deal

NEWS BRIEF: US streaming service Hulu has extended its original comedy Casual into a third season and signed a first-look deal with the show’s exec director Jason Reitman (Juno).

The show is from Lionsgate Television and explores a dysfunctional family’s attempts at online dating, with the third run set to start in 2017. Reitman, meanwhile, has signed an agreement that will cover all TV-related projects, the first such deal for Hulu.
