eOne taps BBCWW’s Yeung

International producer and distributor Entertainment One (eOne) has hired a BBC Worldwide (BBCWW) exec as executive VP of sales for Asia Pacific, based in Hong Hong.

Reporting to president Stuart Baxter, Joyce Yeung will lead the APAC team to drive sales of all eOne film and TV content to broadcasters and OTT platforms across pay TV, free TV, SVoD and AVoD throughout the region.

Prior to joining eOne, Yeung was executive VP of global content sales at BBCWW where she oversaw the TV sales team’s efforts to maximise the company’s portfolio.

She joined BBCWW in 2008 as senior VP and general manager for its sales and distribution business in Asia, based in Hong Kong.

Before that, Yeung was VP of sales and business development for Sparrowhawk Media (now part of NBCUniversal). She previously spent 11 years at Disney International Television Asia Pacific, latterly as executive sales director.

eOne recently hired ITV Studios exec Dan Gopal as executive VP of sales for EMEA.
