Eccho, Storylab commit to Imperfect Crime

Argentinian producer Storylab is looking for coproduction partners on a 10-part thriller being developed with Scandinavia-based distributor Eccho Rights.

El Robo Imperfecto (The Imperfect Crime) follows a detective on a transatlantic investigation who uncovers a sinister setup while dealing with a series of curious thefts.

The show has been created by Nacho Viale and Diego Palacio, who have worked on Lat Am shows including Estocolmo and La Casa Del Mar.

Eccho will help secure international coproduction for the “ambitious project,” as well as handling worldwide distribution for the finished series.

The duo will also partner on a further three as-yet-untitled projects that are in development by the Argentinian producer.

Laura Miñarro, director of coproduction and scripted at Eccho, said: “We have a number of potential producer partners that we are already looking to pitch the project to, particularly in Spain but also elsewhere in Western Europe.
