E4 sets Fullwell 73’s Pants on Fire

UK youth network E4 has ordered a series from indie Fulwell 73 in which comics try to convince a studio audience and celebrity jury they have completed outrageous stunts.

Pants on Fire (working title) will feature three teams of new and emerging comics and will be hosted by Emma Willis (Big Brother). She is also set to front the second season of Studio Lambert reality format The Circle for E4 parent Channel 4 later this year.

From swimming with sharks to winning a pro-wrestling bout, the Pants on Fire teams will try to prove they have completed these tasks, while being interrogated by the celeb panel.

E4 controller Karl Warner said the series was “a great example of how we plan to combine well known talent with up and coming stars.” Gabe Turner, Andy Price and Leo Pearlman are exec producing.
