Covid hospital doc set for HBO Europe

Vitals: A True Human Story was filmed between March and June last year

Pay TV channel HBO Europe has commissioned a three-part documentary set in a Barcelona hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Vitals: A True Human Story is directed by Fèlix Colomer and will premiere on February 7 in all HBO Europe markets. The docuseries follows patients and workers at the Parc Taulí Hospital and was filmed between March and June 2020.

Vitals is produced by The Mediapro Studio’s El Terrat and Forest Film Studios in Spain. HBO Europe’s Hanka Kastelicová, Miguel Salvat and Anthony Root exec produce.

Kastelicová, HBO Europe’s VP of documentaries, said: “Vitals: A True Human Story offers a deep insight into the very private moments of its protagonists and will remain an exceptional record of these unforgettable times.”
