Bradley Wiggins pedals to Comedy Central

Viacom-owned Comedy Central in the UK has commissioned a non-scripted entertainment series hosted by Olympic champion cyclist Bradley Wiggins.

Gods of the Game will see some of the UK’s best athletes compete against contestants in comedy variations of their sports.

Fellow British Olympic champions Mo Farah (running), Chris Hoy (cycling), Rebecca Adlington (swimming) and Nicola Adams (boxing) are all booked to appear, as are cricketer Jimmy Anderson, former tennis player Tim Henman and golfer Tommy Fleetwood.

UK indie Mad Monk (Banzai, Wild Things) is behind the 5×30’ series, which will air early next year on Comedy Central UK.
