Blue Ant’s Antenna hires Good, Pavitt

UK-based production outfit Antenna Pictures has appointed development and production executives following a commission from Channel 4.

Oliver Good has been named head of development while Isabelle Pavitt becomes head of production at Antenna, which is part of Canadian broadcaster, producer and distributor Blue Ant Media.

Good is tasked with developing Antenna’s slate of original content and joins from Nerd TV, where he operated between the company’s offices in California, New York and London.

Pavitt, meanwhile, will oversee the studio’s shows in production and joins from Lambent Productions, where she was also head of production.

Her credits include Dead Behind Bars (BBC1), Pet Hoarders (Channel 5) and The Camera that Changed the World (BBC4). Pavitt was also in charge of distribution, finance and legal affairs.

Earlier this week C4 ordered Just Not My Type (working title, 1×60′), Antenna’s first original documentary.

The show explores the world of modern dating in Britain and asks if young Britons are unwittingly more racist than ever before.

Production studio Antenna launched in London last year under Jago Lee, the former co-founder and MD of UK prodco Nerd TV.
