Blue Ant bags Bravo, CBS sales

NATPE: Bravo in the US, CBS Reality and Denmark’s TV2 have all acquired factual programming from distributor Blue Ant International.

Cablenet Bravo has picked up Architect Films-produced property series Lakefront Luxury season one (10×30’), while CBS Reality has taken Our House Media’s Paranormal Survivor (40×60’) for its networks in EMEA. Discovery in German-speaking Europe has also acquired the supernatural brand, with Travel Channel in the US picking up season four. The series is now in 180 territories around the world.

Elsewhere, TV2 is one of a number of European broadcasters to have taken Paddy Wivell-directed documentary Prison (3×60’), produced by UK indie Spring Films. The series, which explores life inside a working English prison, has also gone to Welt (fka N24) in TV2 in Norway, Belgium’s VRT and RTL in the Netherlands.

Megalomedia-produced sci-fi factual programme UFOs: The Lost Evidence (6×60’) has been licensed by Discovery for its channels in the UK, MENA, Asia-Pacific, Italy, German-speaking Europe, Iberia and Poland.

Finally, UK pubcaster Channel 5 has acquired The Weather Files (8×60’), produced by Blue Ant Media as has Viasat World for Scandinavia, CEE and Africa.
