BBC1 renews daytime crime duo

Daytime crime drama Shakespeare & Hathaway from BBC Studios

UK pubcaster BBC1 has commissioned two further seasons of daytime crime dramas Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators and Father Brown.

Produced by BBC Studios, the shows will receive third and eighth seasons respectively in 2020 and fourth and ninth seasons in 2021. All will comprise 10×45’ episodes.

The exec producer for Shakespeare & Hathaway is Ceri Meyrick, while Will Trotter exec produces Father Brown.
