Bardel sets up Zeke’s Pad in Canada

Bardel Distribution has secured a broadcast deal for its CGI series Zeke’s Pad with CBC-owned Télévision de Radio-Canada.

The series was coproduced Bardel Entertainment, Leaping Lizard Productions and Avrill Stark Entertainment and features a 14-year-old skateboarder and artist whose drawings come to life.

Bardel CEO Delna Bhesania said: “Zeke’s Pad is a wonderful fit for Télévision de Radio-Canada’s audience, and we’re happy to have the show air in both of Canada’s official languages.”

The programme has been pre-sold in English-speaking Canada to YTV, to Channel 7 in Australia and to ZDF in Germany. It has also been sold to Canal+ Family in France. It is distributed through Bardel Distribution in North and South America, and the UK and Eire; and through Studio 100 Media in the rest of the world.
