The global division of AMC Networks has rejigged its management team with a number of appointments affecting its operations in Latin America, Europe and the Middle East.

Manuel Balsera has been named exec VP/MD for AMC Networks International (AMCNI) Southern Europe, while Ricardo Debén takes the same role for AMCNI Latin America and Kevin Dickie takes the position in AMCNI UK, which also includes Poland, the Middle East and Africa.

Finally, Levente Málnay has been named exec VP/MD for AMCNI Central and Northern Europe.

The promotions follow the elevation of Eduardo Zulueta to the newly created role of president at AMCNI in October.

Balsera was most recently senior VP of sales, marketing and digital at AMCNI Southern Europe, while Debén was chief financial and administrative officer for AMCNI Latin America.

Dickie was most recently senior VP of Channels Group in UK, Middle East and Africa and Poland for AMCNI UK, while Málnay previously held the role of senior VP of AMCNI Central and Northern Europe.

Earlier this year AMCNI revamped its operations in Southern Europe by launching a new division under the control of Zulueta.

Industry veteran Mike Moriarty left his role as president of AMCNI Central and Northern Europe and UK last month, before Zulueta was promoted to president.

Zulueta said the changes would help AMCNI “build on its strong position in the marketplace,” where it operates channels including SundanceTV and AMC. It is also behind culinary channel brands such as El Gourmet (Latin America) and Canal Cocina (Southern Europe), factual channel Spektrum (Central and Northern Europe) and UK-based fact ent channel CBS Reality.
