Inside Borussia Dortmund drops on Amazon Prime Video in August

Amazon Prime Video is set to launch a four-part sports documentary series about top Germany football club Borussia Dortmund.

Inside Borussia Dortmund follows the club as they fight for the national Bundesliga title during the 2018/19 season.

The series promises exclusive insights  and marks the first time one of Germany’s major clubs has allowed cameras behind the scenes.

Inside Borussia Dortmund will be available to Prime subscribers on August 16, with the first three episodes released on Fridays and the final show streaming on September 13.

The series will feature star Borussia Dortmund players like Marco Reus, Jadon Sancho and Axel Witsel, as well as current head coach Lucien Favre and former manager Jürgen Klopp, now at Liverpool FC.

The docuseries is Prime Video’s newest addition to its increasing catalogue of sports docs and live content, which includes All or Nothing: Manchester City, Steven Gerrard’s Make Us Dream and a forthcoming docuseries about Real Madrid stars Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane.

Prime Video now also carries live coverage of English Premier League football and US Open tennis matches.
