Amazon to tell Tales From The Loop

The work of Swedish artist Simon Stålenhag

Amazon has given a straight-to-series order to a science fiction drama to be showrun and exec produced by Legion writer Nathaniel Halpern.

Tales From The Loop will be coproduced with Fox 21 Television Studios, with Mark Romanek directing the pilot.

Romanek will also exec produce the series alongside Sixth & Idaho’s Matt Reeves, Adam Kassan and Rafi Crohn.

Mattias Montero, Johan Lindström and Samantha Taylor Pickett will exec produce for Swedish production and management company Indio.

Tales From The Loop is based on the futuristic work of artist and designer Simon Stålenhag, who takes his inspiration from Swedish landscapes. The settings of his work have previously been adapted into art books and games.
