All 4 wants Naked threesome

Channel 4 on-demand service All 4 has commissioned a shortform show about the threesome dating scene from the creator of Discovery’s breakout hit Naked & Afraid.

Threesome Dating (6×4’) is from Naked Entertainment, Simon Andreae’s recently launched factual and entertainment production company, which is backed by FremantleMedia. The commission follows All 4’s order for Britain’s Best Boy Racer (6×4’) from Naked.

Each episode of Threesome Dating will focus on a couple and a singleton as they meet for the first time on a date to see if sparks fly. The series follows different couples with varying relationship setups.

“Threesome Dating is a sensitive and sophisticated look into a growing dating trend,” said former Fox and Channel 4 exec Andreae. “In a world where half of all millennials identify as neither totally straight nor totally gay, it seemed both appropriate and timely to explore sexual fluidity in its most iconic and relatable form. For some, a ‘throuple’ is really just a large couple.”

The programme was commissioned by Jody Smith for All 4 Shorts while Naked’s Tim Hancock is an executive producer.

Last month, UK broadcaster Channel 5 commissioned Naked to make survival format Stripped & Stranded (4×60’).
