Under the three-year agreement, Cuse will work with A+E Studios exec VP Barry Jossen and his team to develop original drama programming for A+E Networks channels including A&E, Lifetime and History

The partnership, which expands a pre-existing relationship with Cuse, marks the first overall production deal with a creator/writer-producer since the production arm of cablenet operator A+E Networks was launched in June 2013.

Cuse is currently a writer-producer on five active series, including forthcoming drama The Returned for A&E and The Strain for FX.

Cuse and Jossen recently completed production on the pilot Point of Honor for US retail giant Amazon’s Prime Instant Video VoD service.

Jossen, former head of ABC Studios, where he worked with Cuse on series including Lost, joined A+E Studios in February and oversees all scripted programming operations.
