Ellen Lovejoy has been upped to VP, head of sales of Americas and formats, and will report to Edward Sabin, executive MDs of international at A+E Networks, and Joel Denton, MD of international content sales.

As previously reported by C21, New York-based Lovejoy adds oversight of Latin America and the US Hispanic markets to her new role while continuing to oversee content sales to the US and Canada. She was previously VP of international content sales.

Helen Jurado and Bryan Gabourie join Lovejoy’s team as senior directors of content sales for Latin America and Canada/US respectively.

Both executives are charged with licensing content from A+E Networks’ catalogue of more than 13,000 hours of content to their regions. Jurado is based in Miami and Gabourie in LA.

Jurado joins from Cisneros Media Distribution, where she was VP of sales and business development, while Gabourie comes from Rive Gauche Television, where he was VP of international distribution and development.

Also reporting to Lovejoy is the global format sales team. Current Latin America sales consultant Mayra Bracer will continue to work with Lovejoy through the Natpe Miami market this month and on special projects thereafter.
